24 Hour Renewal Weekends
What is a Renewal Weekend?
It is a "mini Weekend" experience which starts on Friday night at 7:00 pm and ends on Saturday
night at about 7 pm. It was developed for those who have previously made a DeColores
Weekend to help renew and inspire a more passionate, intimate, relationship with Jesus Christ.
The focus of the 24-hour renewal is on personal spiritual growth. The talks have a new twist
and the activities are different so there are some new and wonderful surprises. Come and
experience this wonderful way to get refreshed, renewed, and reconnected with the DeColores
community. Snacks are available Friday evening, meals are provided for breakfast and lunch
Saturday. What do I need to take? A sleeping bag, Bible and whatever you need for an
overnight stay.
Who should attend a Renewal Weekend?Any DeColores Crucista who wishes to reenergize their relationship to Jesus, who needs a
boost in their daily walk. Has it been a long time since you’ve been on a Weekend? Wanted
to work but never got asked? Do you feel isolated now that your Weekend is over and you
don’t know many of the DeColores community? Come to a Renewal Weekend and get back
into the community. Think about your fourth day life-style. How are other people making their
Spiritual walk real every day? Come and find out.
How do I sign up?
It’s simplicity itself! Look at the Forms, Newsletter and Links page and download the .pdf
application. Fill it out and mail it to DeColores Renewal, P.O. Box 150263, Grand Rapids, MI
49515. Cost is $20. Enclose a check or pay when you arrive. If you can’t pay, come anyway.
